Ceramic veneers at z-aesthetic are priced at €900 to €1,800 per tooth, depending on the material and case complexity. A smile makeover covering six front teeth typically costs €5,400–€9,000. After your initial Digital Smile Design consultation, you receive a fully transparent written cost plan – free and without commitment.

Only minimally, in most cases. Modern ceramic veneers require a reduction of just 0.2 to 0.5 mm of enamel – significantly less than a crown. No-prep veneers with zero tooth reduction are available for suitable cases. Whether you are a candidate for no-prep will be assessed at your consultation with a detailed analysis of your tooth anatomy.

Ceramic veneers from IPS e.max or zirconia typically last 10 to 20 years with good care. Lifespan is extended by: regular professional cleaning, avoiding biting on hard objects (nails, bottle caps, hard crusts), wearing a night splint if you grind your teeth, and attending annual check-ups. With optimal care, many ceramic veneers last 20 years or more.

Yes – and this is one of the most important aspects of our approach. Digital Smile Design (DSD) allows us to simulate your new smile completely on screen before any tooth is touched. We then create a physical mock-up – temporary veneers placed over your natural teeth so you can try the result in your own mouth. You only approve the final design when you are satisfied. No irreversible step is taken before you confirm.

If your teeth are structurally sound and the discolouration is surface-level or intrinsic but uniform, professional whitening is usually the more conservative and cost-effective first step. Whitening cannot change tooth shape, correct chips, or close gaps. Veneers do all of this in addition to colour correction – but they involve a degree of tooth preparation and are a longer-term investment. If whitening has not achieved the result you want, or if you also want to change the shape or alignment of your teeth, veneers are the appropriate solution. We often recommend whitening non-veneer teeth before veneer placement so that all teeth reach their target shade simultaneously.

There is no fixed number. Some patients choose a single veneer to correct one chipped tooth. Most smile makeovers treat 4 to 8 teeth – the teeth visible when smiling. We can also treat just the upper or lower arch. Your Digital Smile Design will show exactly which teeth need to be included for a balanced and natural result.

Yes. Composite veneers do not require any enamel reduction when placed directly (direct bonding), so transitioning to ceramic veneers later is straightforward. Many patients start with composite to 'try' the design, then upgrade to ceramic for permanence. We can plan this transition from the outset.
